From the factory the Audi A8 with the 2.5 TDI 180hp engine (1994 - 1999) delivers 180 HP and 370 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 210 HP and 420 Nm – that is 17% more power and 14% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC15VM+ ECU.
