From the factory the BMW 1 serie with the 120D 200hp engine (F20 - 2011 - 2015) delivers 200 HP and 420 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 220 HP and 440 Nm – that is 10% more power and 5% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC17C50 ECU.
