From the factory the Mahindra XUV500 with the 2.2 CRDi 170hp engine (All) delivers 170 HP and 340 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 190 HP and 440 Nm – that is 12% more power and 29% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC17C81 ECU.
