From the factory the Opel Astra with the 1.6i 16v 100hp engine ((G) - 1998 - 2004) delivers 100 HP and 150 Nm on petrol. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 110 HP and 165 Nm – that is 10% more power and 10% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Delco Multec S (F) / Siemens/Continental SIMTEC 70 ECU.
