From the factory the Renault Vel Satis with the 2.0 DCi 175hp engine (All) delivers 175 HP and 380 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 205 HP and 450 Nm – that is 17% more power and 18% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC16C36 ECU.
