From the factory the Saab 45172 with the 2.8 V6 Turbo 250hp engine (2002 - 2007) delivers 250 HP and 350 Nm on petrol. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 290 HP and 420 Nm – that is 16% more power and 20% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch ME9.6.1 ECU.
