From the factory the Saab 45172 with the 1.9 TTiD 130hp engine (2010 ->) delivers 130 HP and 320 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 160 HP and 380 Nm – that is 23% more power and 19% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC16 ECU.
