From the factory the Seat Altea / XL with the 1.6 TDI 90hp engine (2009 ->) delivers 90 HP and 230 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 140 HP and 310 Nm – that is 56% more power and 35% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Siemens/Continental PCR 2.1 ECU.
