From the factory the Smart ForFour with the 1.5 CDI 68hp engine (2004 - 2014) delivers 68 HP and 160 Nm on diesel. With a Tune Maps remap the calibration is optimised to 92 HP and 210 Nm – that is 35% more power and 31% more torque, while staying within safe limits for engine and drivetrain. The engine is controlled by a Bosch EDC16C31 ECU.
